This Privacy Policy explains how MYCBM ("MYCBM", "we") handles personal data when you use the MYCBM website and application (the "Service").
1. Data we collect
Account data. When you register we collect your full name, email address, preferred language and, if you provide them, your phone number and country. Your password is handled by Firebase Authentication; we never store your password in our database.
Subscription data. Your plan, subscription status and the dates your account and subscription were created or changed.
Calculations and shipment data. The data you enter, such as carton dimensions, weights, quantities, rates, currencies, consolidations, product names, SKUs, notes, values and expenses.
Product images. Images you choose to add to products in a consolidation.
Usage and technical data. Basic technical information needed to operate and secure the Service, such as device and browser type, IP address, and error logs.
Payment data. Payments are processed by our billing provider or by the app store you subscribe through. We do not receive or store your full card details; we receive confirmation of your purchase and subscription status.
2. How we use your data
- to create and secure your account and verify your email address;
- to provide the calculators, consolidations and history you use;
- to manage your free trial and subscription;
- to provide support and respond to your requests;
- to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse;
- to improve the Service using aggregated information;
- to send service messages (for example verification or security emails). We will only send marketing emails if you agree.
3. Legal bases
Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we process your data to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, for our legitimate interests in running a secure and reliable Service, and with your consent where required (for example optional analytics or marketing).
4. Service providers
We use trusted providers who process data on our behalf, including:
- Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Hosting) for sign-in, data storage (including product images) and delivery of the Service;
- our payment provider or the Apple App Store / Google Play for subscriptions.
The fonts used by the website and the application are served from our own servers; your browser does not load them from a third-party font service.
If we enable analytics, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
5. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
We keep your account data and content while your account is active.
Deleting your account. You can delete your account at any time in the application (Settings or Profile → Delete Account), after confirming with your password. This deletes your sign-in account and the data stored in your account: your profile, saved calculations, aggregations and product images. Aggregations you shared are no longer visible to other users, and your access to aggregations others shared with you is removed. The copy saved in the browser or device you use to delete the account is removed as well. You can also ask us to delete your account at support@mycbm.app.
We may keep certain records (for example billing records) where the law requires it.
7. Security
We protect your data with industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Firebase Authentication and database security rules that allow each signed-in user to access only their own profile. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights contact us at support@mycbm.app. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Cookies and local storage
The website and application use essential browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences such as language. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics cookies, we will ask for consent where required.
10. Children
The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 16.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date. Questions about privacy can be sent to support@mycbm.app.
