What is CBM?
CBM means cubic metre — the volume of a carton or shipment. Sea freight is usually priced per CBM. One CBM is a space of 1 m × 1 m × 1 m.
How does MYCBM calculate CBM?
MYCBM multiplies length × width × height in centimetres and divides by 1,000,000 to get the CBM of one carton, then multiplies by the number of cartons for the total.
Does MYCBM support air freight?
Yes. The air freight calculator shows actual weight, volumetric weight (with a 5000, 6000 or 7000 divisor) and the chargeable weight, plus the total cost.
Can I manage shipment consolidations?
Yes. Create a consolidation, add products with images, cartons, pieces, weights and values, and add shipping costs and other expenses. MYCBM totals everything and estimates container fill.
Can I export calculations?
Yes, for aggregations: export any aggregation to PDF, then download, share or print the report. Individual calculations are saved to your history, where you can review, duplicate or edit them.
